Have you received essential oils as a gift recently? Were you excited to open the bottles, smell them and admire their amazing scents? Were you then completely perplexed about how to use them?
As a practicing aromatherapist, I am very passionate about getting essential oils into the hands of more people. But that means those people need to have knowledge to use them safely and effectively. I love my essential oils like I love my best friends (sorry, girls!), and it drives me crazy to think of these beautiful bottles sitting on a shelf somewhere because the recipient was too intimidated to open the cap!
Of course, you can always ask me—or better yet take my Foundations of Aromatherapy course and be well armed with great information for a lifetime of essential oil goodness!
But more immediately, you can access the wide array of credible sources out there. I always suggest you start with the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy’s website www.naha.org. You will find practical information along with a host of resources to help you on your journey.
Believe me, it’s a journey worth taking!
Essential oils really do make a great gift, because yes, they will keep on giving. Not just giving the many benefits of aromatherapy but perhaps the best gift of all; giving someone the ability to take control for their own well being.
